Sourcing & Guidance

Help finding the right car, an independent pre-purchase inspection, and delivery coordination once it's yours. We advise — you buy.

Protection

PPF, ceramic coating, vinyl wrap, and window tint — scheduled and quality-checked end to end.

Wheels & Performance

Wheel and tire fitment, exhaust, and tune coordination through shops we've already vetted.

Service & Maintenance

Routine and warranty scheduling, detailing, and the follow-through most owners never have time for.

Transport & Delivery

Enclosed transport and pickup/delivery coordination, with a documented condition report both ways.

Storage & Seasonal Prep

Off-season storage, periodic exercise, and changeover prep for cars that don't run year-round.

Event & Track Day Prep

Tech inspection scheduling, trailer/transport logistics, and day-of coordination for track days, car shows, and rally events.

A

The Time-Poor Executive

One daily, one weekend car. Tired of losing Saturdays to dealership service lines and chasing detailers by text.

B

The Collector

Three to six cars in rotation. Wants one relationship who actually knows the cars, not a new technician every visit.

C

The First Exotic Buyer

Just bought the car they've wanted for years — and would rather have someone explain PPF, tint law, and fitment than guess.

D

The Out-of-Town Owner

A car that lives in Atlanta while its owner splits time elsewhere. Needs someone to check on it, not just store it.

01

Inquiry

Tell us about the car and what you'd like handled. A short intake form keeps the first call focused.

02

Consultation

A short call to scope the work, set a realistic timeline, and understand what matters to you.

03

Proposal

An itemized quote — vendor cost and our management fee shown separately, always.

04

We handle it

Vendor scheduling, transport, and quality control at every handoff, with photo documentation throughout.

05

Delivery

A full walkthrough, complete paperwork, and a follow-up check-in a week later.

Essentials, itemized
Detailing coordination$150 flat
PPF / wrap / tint / wheels project management15% of vendor invoice, $250 min
Pre-purchase inspection (PPI) coordination$150–$300 flat
Event & track-day prep$250 flat, per event

Every quote itemizes vendor cost separately from our fee. Event prep runs $250 flat for a standard local track day or car show; multi-day or out-of-town events (transport, overnight logistics) are quoted individually, same transparent structure. Essentials and New Arrival are open now; Managed and Collection are limited to a small number of clients while we prove out service quality with founding clients — ask and we'll tell you honestly where that stands.

vs. a dealership service department

Transactional by design, and structurally incentivized to upsell in-house PPF and ceramic at dealer margin. We work for you, not a service quota.

vs. an independent broker

A broker's job ends at the purchase. Ours starts there and continues for as long as you own the car.

vs. a personal assistant

Generalists don't have an automotive vendor network or the technical credibility to know what a fair PPF quote looks like. We do — this is the one thing we specialize in.

vs. doing it yourself

The honest answer: you can do all of this yourself. We exist for the point where you'd rather not — without losing the transparency you'd have if you did.

Most owners don't lack good taste, or a good mechanic, or a good detailer. They lack someone to hold it all together.
— VMG Motors, Atlanta

VMG Motors started with a Supra, not a business plan. Its founder spent months personally researching and vetting detailers, PPF installers, and performance shops for his own car — and kept finding the same split: a lot of shops with real marketing and social presence, and a much smaller number that actually did the work well. Telling the two apart, every time, is what took the time.

That's the whole business, generalized. VMG exists to have already done that vetting — for protection, service, wheels, whatever the car needs next — backed by years spent in Atlanta's automotive event and rally community, where the good shops earn their reputation the same way we're trying to: word of mouth, not ad spend.

We don't sell parts, and we don't perform the work ourselves. We select the people who do, hold them to a standard, and stay accountable for the result.

Every vendor cost is itemized separately from our fee. No hidden markups, no undisclosed referral arrangements — if a vendor pays us a referral fee, it's stated in your agreement, not buried in the invoice.

Service area: Atlanta and the surrounding metro — Buckhead, Midtown, Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Brookhaven, Decatur, and beyond. Not local? Ask — remote coordination is often still possible.

Does VMG Motors perform the detailing, wrap, or mechanical work itself?

No. VMG is a coordinator, not a shop. We select, vet, and manage a network of independent specialists — detailers, PPF and wrap installers, wheel and performance shops, transport and storage providers — and stay accountable for the result. The work itself is always performed by the vendor.

How is pricing structured — is there a hidden markup?

No hidden markup. Every quote itemizes the vendor's cost separately from VMG's management fee, so you always see exactly what the specialist charges and what you're paying us to coordinate it. À la carte coordination starts at $150; full new-arrival onboarding runs $1,200–$2,500 depending on scope.

Do you take possession of my car?

As little as possible, by design. Most work happens at the vendor's own facility — you or a scheduled transport provider handle drop-off and pickup. When VMG is involved in a handoff, we document vehicle condition with timestamped photos at every step: client to VMG, VMG to vendor, and back.

My car sits in Atlanta while I travel — can you look after it?

Yes — this is a common request from owners who split time between cities. We coordinate periodic exercise, seasonal storage prep, and service or registration deadlines with no owner present, and send photo updates after each visit.

Can you help me find and buy a car?

We can point you toward the right car and arrange an independent pre-purchase inspection before you commit. The purchase decision, negotiation, and paperwork stay between you and the seller — VMG is a paid consultant to you, never a party to the sale.

How fast do you respond, and how far in advance should I book?

We reply to every inquiry within one business day. Scheduling with a vendor typically needs 3–5 business days — we'd rather set a timeline we can keep than promise next-day and miss it.

What vehicle makes do you work with?

Any make. Our network has particular depth with German and British performance and luxury marques, but the coordination model works the same regardless of what you drive.
